The FGR is the successor to the PGR and was founded on December 20, 2018.
The public official was sentenced to 9 years in prison for abusing a minor in a CDMX Hospital.
According to INEGI, From October 2015 to October 2016, the number of women with at least one incident of violence is estimated at 11,112,743 women, of which 902,287 of them experienced sexual violence.
The Office of the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR), through the Office of the Special Prosecutor for Crimes of Violence against Women and Human Trafficking (FEVIMTRA), obtained a conviction against Eduardo Miquel Flores Armas, for his full responsibility for sexually abusing of a minor inside a CDMX hospital as a public official.
The sentence was shared on social networks that of FGR. The defendant was arrested in December 2019, after his victim reported the events, which occurred in a children’s hospital located in the Doctores neighborhood of Mexico City.
According to a statement from the FGR, The complaint filed led to the investigation carried out by the agent of the Federal Public Ministry (MPF), attached to FEVIMTRA, and which resulted in the exercise of criminal action in December 2019.
Subsequently, and after carrying out the process in its various sequels, it was possible to prove the full responsibility of Miguel Miquel Flores Armas, in the crime of aggravated sexual abuse committed in the exercise of his public order to an employee inside a hospital in Mexico City.
Consequently, the Federal Oral Trial Judge attached to the Federal Criminal Justice Center in Mexico City with headquarters in the Reclusorio Oriente, handed down a sentence of nine years in prison and payment of reparation for the damage.
