Originally designed for Michael Jordan in 1985, the Air Jordan 1 High quickly conquered a place in the history of two sneakers. Characterized by its tall silhouette and iconic combination of green and red cores, which defied the NBA rules and captured worldwide attention, these shoes became a classic of sports shoes and continue to be re-released with different designs on this page.
Nesse context, or next release das Air Jordan 1 High will be “First in Flight”planned as a tribute to famous people Irmaos Wright (the Americans disregard Santos Dummont) and Michael Jordan, who will manage to fly in their respective fields.
This will be the Air Jordan 1 High “First in Flight”
What do the most famous American aviation pioneers like the Wright brothers and NBA star Michael Jordan have in common? It seems like a strange mixture, but the truth is that the answers are simpler than they seem. And all these figures coincide in the same place: North Carolina.
The brothers Wright first starred in 1903 in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, when Michael Jordan began his professional career at the University of North Carolina, after winning a basketball scholarship in the 1981-82 season.
Thus, the new Air Jordan 1 High “First in Flight” are presented in high-quality leather, with a color palette that combines white with two shades of blue. The sky blue “UNC” highlights the Swoosh and frontal overlays, while a darker navy blue dominates the heel and toe areas. And, of course, in this case the iconic Jordan handle logo is in gold.
The launch is Scheduled for July 6 on the Nike site and will also be available in selected stores. The sale price is expected to be around US$ 180.
